Reading is part of the Reading Comprehension and Written Expression component, worth 45% of the final score. You will read short everyday texts — notices, e-mails, ads, messages — and answer comprehension questions (multiple choice, true/false or matching).
Before reading the text, look at the questions. This way you know what to look for and save time.
At A2 level, you don't need to understand every word. Focus on the main idea and key information.
Dates, times, places and names are often the answer. Mentally underline them as you read.
In multiple choice, an option that looks similar to the correct one may be wrong. Re-read carefully.
Read 4 short texts in Portuguese and answer 8 comprehension questions. Estimated time: 5 minutes.
