Reading tips

Read the questions first

Before reading the text, look at the questions. This way you know what to look for and save time.

You don't need to understand everything

At A2 level, you don't need to understand every word. Focus on the main idea and key information.

Watch for keywords

Dates, times, places and names are often the answer. Mentally underline them as you read.

Beware of distractors

In multiple choice, an option that looks similar to the correct one may be wrong. Re-read carefully.
